From 14โ18 July 2025, the MPC, in collaboration with Kingston Leadership Team Inc. (Canada), successfully conducted the WPS Course Serial 3/2025. 34 participants from Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam took part, focusing on UNSCR 1325 & 2242 and the integration of gender perspectives in peacekeeping operations. The course was facilitated by Dr. Alan Okros and Subject Matter Experts from KLT Inc.
Participants explored international frameworks, womenโs empowerment, and gender-inclusive strategies in defense and security. The course concluded with a closing ceremony officiated by Commandant of MPC. Special guests included Brig Gen Normah binti Samsuri, Deputy Chairperson of the Women Empowerment Community, Malaysian Armed Forces, and Col Joel A. Lobitana, Philippine Defense and Armed Forces Attachรฉ to Malaysia.
