24 participants in total successfully completed the United Nations Staff Officers Course (UNSOC) Serial 20/26 at the Malaysian Peacekeeping Centre (MPC) from 15 June to 3 July 2026.
The course brought together military and police personnel from Malaysia, Laos, and Zimbabwe, providing participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to perform the duties of United Nations staff officers in a multinational Peacekeeping Operation (PKO) environment.
The programme concluded with a Scenario-Based Exercise (SBE) based on the CARANA mission scenario, enabling participants to apply their planning, coordination, analysis, and decision-making skills in accordance with United Nations standards.
The successful completion of the course reflects MPC's continued commitment to developing competent and mission-ready peacekeepers in support of international peace and security.
