The United Nations Staff Officer Training of Trainer Course Serial 2025 was successfully held at the Malaysian Peacekeeping Centre (MPC) from 24 Nov until 5 Dec 25, in collaboration with United Nations Integrated Training Service (UN ITS). The course was lead by Lt Col Hosnaera and teams from UN ITS also with 2 MPC instructors. The objectives of this course is to enable participants to deliver UNSO STM 2024, enable direct interaction between participants and officers from UN ITS as well as other Member States, access the participants on their delivery skills to be considered as international trainers in UN ITS rosters and to support the UN Gender Parity Strategy 2018 - 2028 to increase meaningful participation of women in UN peacekeeping operations.
A total of 23 participants attended the course, comprising 4 officers from the Malaysian Armed Forces and 19 officers from international participants. This course has putting methods together with the favourable learning environment, hasundeniably deepened your knowledge, skills and broadened your views onvarious issues related to peacekeeping mission. The participants also have done very well especially during the presentation, demonstrating the knowledge and individual skills gained throughout the training.
The course concluded with remarks by Commandant of MPC. A huge thank you to all participants for their fully commitment and valuable contributions. Also a step forward for MPC in promoting regional cooperation and inclusive peace efforts.
